deep cycle battery foe lights an fans

I only use interstate batteries for every thing. Once in High School I left the lights on my truck for 4 hours she still turned over. My dad has one deep cycle that we have used for 7 years ice fishing and trolling motors and is still a great battery. My cranking battery on my boat sat out side for 2 years with out being recharged before i bought it. Charged it up and its held a good charge for 2 seasons now. I'd look into buying blems. The ones i have for my trolling motor cost me 35 bucks a piece only thing i can see wrong with them is there is a little porosity in the lead terminals. While i've never bought a wallmart deep cycle the cranking batteries have never lasted more then a couple years for me.

boar if you have a boat, use the trolling motor batteries, then it doesnt cost you anything! Otherwise, I have used several different types of batteries, and cant seem to get more then 3yrs of use out of any of them, so I guess what I am trying to say is, dont spend big money on one, the cheeper ones seemed to last just as long as the spendy ones for me!

Stowaway from NAPA is only $10-20 more then wallyworlds dump and will last twice as long.

I bought a few everystart deep cycles from wallyworld, and never got past 2 years with them. I always charged them the right way and stored them in a heated garage when not in use.

I also get almost twice the running hours out of the stowaways. There well worth the extra $10.
