WI River fall pics

I am no photographer but I thought I would share some shots of one of my favorite places just before it closes for the season. The last one would be better if the rocks were in focus but I still like it. I really enjoy all the nature photos on this forum.

Hey John, thanks for posting these. This forum is for everyone to share on.

I like No. 2 because of the nice round window formed by the trees, and that last one because, being originally from LaCrosse, that shot with the sandstone chimney reminds me of home. Nice work.

All very nice shots of a very cool place.The bluffs look like a neat place to hang out for a day and just wander around checking out stuff.

Great shots! My wife and I have threatened to visit that bluff country one of these years. Pix like this help make it more than a threat.

This area is in south central WI about 40 minutes north east of Madison, a few miles down river of the Prairie du Sac dam. Across the river is the Mazomanie nude beach.
