Hammer Handle
I have a 30-06 pump rifle and once in a while the shell gets jammed as it doesn't not come out of the click completely. I have changed the clip, but it still happens.I have used other pump guns (shotguns) for many years with no issues. Any idea what is wrong with the rifle? colonel42
Your not getting to excited and short pumping it are you?? I have had that happen when I shoot my 870. As for a rifle I use a bolt so not much help here. Sorry
JDM
Is the gun clean? My other suggestion would be a bad clip, but you addressed that. I have a Remington .270 pump. I cannot pump it like I can my pump shot guns. It just isn't as smooth.
Nate McVey
My 30-06 Remington Carbine had that happen not too long ago, but mine was from the clip. Some rust had formed on the springs, so I blasted some WD-40 under the plate and it worked well after that and I haven't had a problem since.
