Tough weather, fantastic fishing

Just got back from three great days on Lake of the Woods. Thursday and Friday were cold, windy, and non stop rain. The fishing was good. Good numbers of walleyes with a few crappies mixed in.

Friday was the same weather, which made it tough to get out of bed, but we did. Another long day in the wet weather, and good fishing, with lots more bonus crappies.

Saturday was absolutely calm and the clouds passed on. Fishing was slower, but the day was very enjoyable with glass like water conditions and "decent" fishing. Worked hard on crappies all day and managed to get together enough.

Bumped in to Frank Walsh from Bay Store Camp. Great to meet you Frank, hope to see you again!

In spite of the warmer water temperature, trolling has been pretty good. Getting 2-4 fish per day with an occasional biggie thrown in to keep the blood flowing.
