Nice job! I don't think I would have the time to hunt one bird. You have a real prize for just that one reason. Did you have a budy along that wanted in on the goods, or did you chase after him alone? Did you crack him on the first shot or did you get duck fever?

I was hunting alone. He came in with a flock much later than the rest the mallards using the area and boy did he stick out when I saw them. He was a ways out and I only had IC choke in, after 3 shots there was feathers flying but he was still going with the rest the flock. My heart sank so low but then he began to not keep up with the rest of them. He dropped about 60 yrds later and was dead when I got to him.
