what do i need to bring to canada to get a hunting license?

You need a copy of a current or previous hunting license to buy a Canadian hunting license. Remember if you are going to be deer hunting in Wildlfe management units 9B or 10 in the Rainy River District there is non resident guide requirement.

Also some camps may ask that you bring last years license so they can keep it on record which saves time in the future.

And if you plan on hunting with a firearm you'll need to register yourself and the gun at the border. I'd suggest you download and fill out the form before going across to save a little time. You'll have to go in while they process it. $25. good for 60 days. Can be a bit of a wait if lots of guys are going across at the same time.

Lots of them on LOW, but not many around Clearwater. Just a few, but they have been shot at and not may around compared to LOW.
