I know the season officialy kicked off last weekend but tonight is opening night. Here are my predictions for the year.

1. Anaheim, Pittsburgh

2. Detroit, Ottawa

3. Colorado, Tampa Bay

4. San Jose, NY Rangers

5. Minnesota, Toronto

6. Dallas, Atlanta

7. Vancouver, Philadelphia

I have no predictions. Although, Anaheim managed to improve this year. It sure was fun watching hockey last night! The Toronto/Ottawa game was fun. Just wish I would have been able to watch the whole game. I'm really looking forward to the Wild game tonight!

How about the wild, Backstrom is the man! Boogie back at his old self, looks like the knock out punch needs a little work. And the offense seems to be struggling with goals, hopefully not a trend for the year.

I think the wild will do better than last year. The goals will come, they have too much offensive talent not to score. Backstrom will be strong in goal and keep us in many games. Hopefully we make the playoffs so I can go to the home games again, that was a blast!!
