well guys, i just got my fall angler BPS catalog, and there it was. comming soon to minneapolis! enjoy cool.gif

i wonder how much business it will take from cabelas. i would guess the iowa guys comming up north will still stop in owatona. while the metro folks and fly in visiters will hit BPS.

LC- I would be willing to bet that it really will not hurt cabelas all that much buisness wise. THey really do pull from a different crowd. Cabelas really doesnt cator to the bass guys. I suppose they sell a few rods and reels to bass dudes.. and they will loose some buisness that way.

IF its to hurt anybody.. I would guess it may hurt Gander Mtn Stores... They however had the edge in easy... they have stores all over.

You know who it will hurt the most? My wife, because I will be spending much more of our money at BPS, leaving her with the leftovers, if there is any. grin.gif

It would just even out the current situation a little, if you know what I mean.

I think it's bad timing on BPS with all the tournament restrictions in Minnesota now. The restrictions on bass tournaments might hurt the BPS, Ganders and Dick's the most, not another new store in the metro.

Any idea when this is coming to Minneapolis? I cant even go to Cabela's anymore cause every time I do, they never have what I'm looking for. They're definitely not catering to the Bass fisherman as much as I'd like them to, but a BPS will be worth the trip to know they'll have what I need.
