Remington Sportsman steel

What do you guys think of Remington Sportsman steel and it's performance ? It is the cheapest load around here and I just want to use it for teal and early ducks, but I don't want probs with it....patterning or otherwise.

I bought a case of it in 3 1/2inch. Every other Remington shell has worked great for me I'm sure this will be the same.

It's a pretty solid load. I have had no problem patterning the loads and they hit hard. Another one that I have been shooting alot of is the Federal Speed Shock. They aren't too badly priced either. Both loads work great for me.

I hated the pattern. very big. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I've seen factory remington steel loads that were best described as duds. The gun would fire with a muted sound and I could see the pellets pop out of the barrel. Havn't bought any since. Hope it was just a bad batch, but I'm not taking any more chances.

I had poor patterns with it.

I am pretty sure most of it just depends on what kind of gun you are shooting and the choke that you have in it.

That is all I have used for geese and have had no problems
