Zoom 4'' Lizards

I bought some of these 4'' Zoom Lizards...Stupid question but how are these plastics intended to be used?

They are intended to be used in the water for bass.

I have used them for smallies and they work great.

The fish would just smack them.

I used a worm hook. Thread the hook into

the first quarter past the head of the lizard.

Slide it up and hook into the body.

Weightless, Carolina rig, texas rig.. all work well with lizzards.

Thanks for the info guys. This is the reason i love this site...I also hate it for the same reason cause when I browse the site all day long at work it just makes me want to hit the water and time just crawls by at work

Whats a carolina rig? Is that when you just thread the hook texas style with a bullet weight at the head? Stupid rig is when you peg the weight 10'' or so above the hook/plastic right? and whats the differance between a Texas rig and weightless? I thought texas was just the way you thread the hook....Sorry I just wanna get my terminology correct!

1. A carolina rig, Is a soft plastic with a weight about a foot above the bait. Alot of times a a bead and swivel are used at the fromt of the so to say leader.

2. That is a texas rig with a weight.

3. Yes, also known as the mojo rig.

4. Nothing really, one just has aweight and one doesnt.

You could probably hook a lizard wacky style too and get it to work. Just like a worm, hook it right through the middle and toss it out weightless.

Psst - jig n lizard

Hop it along the bottom like a lil lizard digging around. Better on weedless stand up jigs to have the nose down and bottom up. Just like - um prolly can't say that on here
