I assume you are referring to the Anoka County Pheasant's Forever Youth Day, which traditionally happens this saturday. It has been moved to September 15th at Beaverbrook. Lotsa activities for the kids and it is free, so bring a carload!

The PF kids fest is a great time from what I hear.

These people put on one nice event with tons of activities.

Beaverbrook gun club is located in East Bethel, from the MPLS area take HWY 65 North to Klondike Drive, go East about a mile and a half to Palisade st, go North about a 1/2 mile to the club gates and follow the road into the club parking lot.

There are signs at HWY 65 and on Palisade st.

What you heard is true! I took my sons last year for the 1st time and I have never seen an event planned so well. Lots of activities and very fun even for adults to watch and learn from.
