fishinrush
Maybe I just missed the boat on this one, but I was checking out the MN DNR HSOforum to see what exact date the firearm season is this year and found out that it is November 3rd. Then I noticed that November 2nd was listed as the last day to "upgrade firearm deer license". Any idea on what this "upgrade" consists of? TrophyEyes
I think the upgrade is reffering to if you had a Archery License and you want to "upgrade" it to a firearms license you have to pay the difference, plus a little bit for their trouble. I could clearly be wrong here. I have always gotten the all season license, but this year I am going to a lottery area for the first time. I realized I don't even know how to apply for a doe permit because I have never had to do it before. I have been able to shoot 5 does a year since I started hunting and definately never had to apply. bigbucks
You can't uprade an archery license to a firearms license. You'd just have to buy one. I think you could probably upgrade archery to all-season, otherwise they're talking about upgrading a regular firearm license to either a multi-zone or an all-season.
