lawdog
OK this stinks, I can't watch any of it tomorrow unless I maybe catch a bit at lunch. What's worse, imagine what this does to the teams who need to roll into Bristol on Thursday. YIKES! The small low budget teams without lots of employees will really take a beating this week. Those who DNQ'ed last week might have a big advantage over those who made the race this week amongst those not in the top 35. This just really screws things up all around... LMITOUT
Do you think they'll be very affected by a short week? I would hope that they are more prepared than that and have their short track car ready further than just a week ahead of time. Man-hours will be long and they won't get any sort of break this week, but I would think their cars should be ready to load up for the most part. The part that will be the worst for all the teams is the extended stay and the money for lodging, etc. Oh well. Gotta pay to play.
PierBridge
Now thats funny right Der! All 3 postponed race threads were posted at the same time 2:57 pm... Wonder what that trifecta would pay.....
lawdog
Might have been three posts but I got the only replies I wasn't thinking so much about getting the cars ready as the crews being gone and not getting home in time to go through their normal processes of unloading, inventorying the haulers, replacing parts they used up over the weekend and restocking everything and then getting the different cars loaded up. Some of the big teams might even have another hauler that's already ready I have no idea, but if you are BAM racing or Morgan McClure and you have to turn the whole deal around in a day, that's going to be rough... Don't complain, a friend of mine drove all the way out there and HAD to come back today. He is the same friend of mine that went to Vegas about 10 years back and THAT race got cancelled because of wildfire smoke- I think he has bad luck
