Questor
I found a really great concept at Walmart a couple of months ago made by Overcast. It's a pair of good quality polarized sunglasses that fit over glasses. In other words I can wear my glasses and then put the sunglasses over them without clipping anything onto my prescription lenses. The problem with those glasses is that they are poorly made, and the two pairs I bought, one for my son and one for me, both broke at the same spot on the leg. It's a design flaw.Do you know of another brand of this type of sunglasses that is reasonably priced? The concept has worked very well, we just need a durable product.Thanks. efgh
I have sunglasses that fit over regular glasses, I bought them at Remolds welding supply store in Mankato.
mamohr686
Have you ever consider getting some prescription sunglasses? I had a custom pair made for my dad for his birthday. They were costa del-mar polarized with a progressive bi-focal, and he won't fish without them.
Da Beak
There's a brand I've had for a while called Cocoons. You can get them at Gander or Cabelas for about $40. They work great.
Questor
Thanks for the advice.I did try a pair of prescription sunglasses but didn't like them because I do a lot of fishing where there are transitions from light to shadow (trout streams, for example). Up to now I've had a strong preference for clip-on flip-up style sunglasses because I could wear them in the sun then just flip them up in the shadow. The kind that slip over glasses are very nice when used in conjunction with a neck strap.
Black_Bay
My dad has used Fitovers and likes them.
MinnesotaMongo
I have fitovers and they are nice, although they are pretty clunky. I've had the same pair for years and they hold up nicely, esp. if you store them well.
