superbee
Hi, The minimum age for a NR to hunt in Ontario is 16 year old. Some of the other provinces may have a lower age limit, but I am not 100%. If there is anything else I can help you with, let me know. Lucas - Gateway North Outfitterswww.gatewaynorthoutfitters.net
bogman
Thanks superbee.I wish my younger son was a bit older, I want him to be a part of this hunt as well.Do you know the age requirements of other hunting venues such as Montana or Colorado? superbee
They can hunt in MT at the age of 12 as long as they have taken hunter safety, I believe that CO is the same, but you would want to double check that. If you are looking for a really good high success elk hunt. I know a outfitter in CO that I usually go with every year. Not huge bulls, but 5 and 6 pts are common and usually every one fills out. He also does cow hunts as well.
