Michael Cuddyer is headed to the disabled list with ligament damage in his right thumb, and the Twins have promoted Darnell McDonald from Class AAA Rochester to take his place on the roster, Manager Ron Gardenhire told KSTP AM-1500 this morning.

thats a huge blow to our offense. he was the best hitter in the lineup the last week. but it was good to see the twins get 7 tonight.

Could there have any more errors last night? McDonald throws over 3rd baseman, looks terrible at the plate, and Jones looks lost too. Cuddy will be missed even after he comes back because it will take a few games to get his timing back.

they played horrible. We need Cuddy back int he lineup. Ya he K's alot, but hes one of our biggest hitters, and hides alot of the other guys in the lineup like the Candain and Hunter, and they have to putch to Mauer cuase they dont want to pitch to the rest.
