Well, I was really hoping that the D40 would be fine enough that I would fell confidant to use it whereever I wanted. It sounds like I should stick to the I450. I may bite the bullet and get 2, but I won't be happy about it. mad.gif

Who'm I kidding. The only one who won't be happy about it is the CFO, I mean my wife. At least I won't spend $70 on film, developing, and batteries on a $35 camera.

Wildview 2.0 has always been a great camera for me. Well under $100. Throw in two memory cards, two sets of rechargable batteries and a battery charger and you're still at about the $200 mark for a set-up that will keep you going for years. Downside is the shutter time is sloooooow. I put mine at a salt lick which works pretty well.

Good thread guys, great information. I plan to pick up a couple more this year as well and have been looking at the Moultrie I40 and I60. Looks like the best bang for the buck in the IR cameras. Just wondering, does anyone know if both of these models take color pics in the daytime? Many of the older IR cameras only took black and white photos and I am wondering if this is the case with these models? Thoughts?
