LuckyNorm07
Some buddies and i are going to be making a fishing trip up to the hayward area. We are going to be doing some muskie fishing. We have decided to get a guide.. I have been looking around and i am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good muskie guide?
CanOCorn
Ask around for what body of water is producing better. French, Flowage or Lac Courte O'Reilles are lakes I am know do good up there. Cooter
Similar to what canocorn said, maybe first decide which lake(s) you want to fish first - you want a trophy lake or numbers lake, clear water or somewhat stained, etc. Then you can narrow it down to fewer guides. I don't have any specific suggestions, any of them that have been in the business for a while are still there for a reason. Keep us posted! Jim Hudson
Lots of guides to choose from the area... Some are lake specific.. If your looking at the Chippewa Flowage, Ty Sennet and Dave Dorazio are good choices... For other area lakes, look up Scott Kieper, Steve Genson, Tanner Wildes, Joel Tinker, Bruce Shumway, Bill Shumway, or Larry Ramsell...A lot of info on fishing and area guides can be found at Pastikas or Hayward Bait and Tackle..
