Bachelor Group in my backyard.

Hey Folks. Got up this morning and there was a bachelor group of deer at my salt block and eating away at the stumps. One looked like an 8, 6 4, and a spiker. It was pretty neat to see the rankings via velvet. It might be too soon to be for sure but they were definetly bucks in a group. There was also a doe or a yearling buck but maybe a button buck hard to say. I just should have taken pictures. I just hope they stick around till September.

That starts to get the blood flowing for this fall. Have a trail cam? I'm getting mine out this week next to some minerals. I always seem to see some nice bucks in velvet that I never see again during the bow season.

Always fun to see those bachelor groups!!! It gets the mind thinking about fall and cooler weather and bowhunting!!!

No deer this morning. Maybe there making the rounds. I need to get a camera and see what there really doing and when there stopping by.

Hey Tippman been on the river by your home latetly?? I was in St. Cloud yesterday and went over the Miss and was thinking that the river looked navigatable down there for some fishing.

I'm getting the itch driving over the Miss every day and watching the mud move south. After a muskie tourny this weekend I'm going to focus on the "mud".........
