Lac Seul Report

Just got back today and we took er full speed through the rags. Saved us about 6 extra miles where we go so we would have walked it through if needed :-)

Fishing was pretty good, first day very windy so much tougher but 2nd day was calmer and hot with a pretty good bite by the eyes(no trophies) but it was a great time.

Nothing beats seeing a huge northern attack a walleye on your hook at full speed!! Where polarized glasses so you can see things like that!

Ohh yeah, we passed 3 just before they got in the rags :-)

Not sure on water temp, I would guess 66 as compared to our lakes here.

Just got back from Lac Seul tonight. Fishing was good like always. We were at Mahkwa. Water temps were in the low 60's on the big lake. Water levels were pretty good actually, maybe 2 feet low.

We're heading up there in a week and a half, near Ear Falls. Does anyone have the Navionics chip? It is useful up there? Is the new 2007 version better?
