Need replacement windshield for 2006 Crestliner Fishhawk

Tim Ellis

Question

Does anyone know where to find a replacement windshield for 2006 Crestliner Fishhawk? Valv? Nothing urgent but mine cracked on the bolt hole so it won't be long before it cracks all the way up. It is the tinted plexiglass type.

I know you could get one from crestliner direct in little falls. I bought the whole side console kit from them. You could also order it through a crystal pierz marine.

In the mean time, drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it... you'll get by longer that way.

I noticed that the rubber washers that came with the windshields were a little flimsy and pushed out when I tightened the screws. I don't think I was overdoing it but I may have been. I am planning to use some gasket making stuff to replace the bad ones. Might help prevent future cracks.

Sutty-

I noticed the same situation with my rubber washers and i am sure i must have overtightened. However the crack only got to about 1" and since have drilled a 1/32" hole to stop the crack. Can't even see the hole since it is so small, hopefully it holds out for awhile.
