boat motor/Tecumseh bone yards

Hey Yall,

I have a 15 hp Gamefisher from 1978 or so, I braught it to a guy and found that there is no spark on the upper cyclinder. He infromed me that the Magneto went out, I searched around and found that the motor is made by Esko. The engine is a Tecumseh. The part is no longer available according to Sears and several other parts dealers online, I will check some parts stores when they are open. The part that I have found in aftermarket places is between 150-250 (yeouch), Can anyone recommend a place to find a bone yard near Chisago, or st paul if I have too. I would even concider Cheeseland.

Try a search for used motor parts here on FM, or contact Twin City Outboards, or Boat Motor Recyclers, lookup phonebook for numbers.

Ive attempted to do the search on here, its not the best search function there is, Ive dont alot of reading on the web also, Was just thinking maybe someone with more experience and knowledge would have a recommondation and thought I should post in both sections to make sure that both groupes of people would see it.
