Hummingbird Matrix 67 Combo

I saw one for sale at a local sporting goods store for $299 and was considering buying it to test it out. Does anyone have any experience with one of these units? Just wondering if its worth the money or not.

I havnt used one but they cant be to bad if you looking for a cheaper gps/locator combo. Plus buy it before the first of july and get a free Navionics gold chip by mail. Another good cheaper combo unit thats going for $399 is the lowrance LMS 480.

I have the humminbird 383 and I like it, does everything I need except put the fish in the boat. I looked at the Matrix 67, but was told they were discontinuing that line. I like the color of the 383 as opposed the black and white.

The 383 does not have gps or does it? Also I believe the screen is slightly smaller. The 383 and matrix 67 are the same price right now at $300.
