10,000 Casts
I am looking to book a Muskie trip up to NW Ontario later this summer (August) and I was hoping you guys might have some advise. What do you guys know about...Muskie only lakes?Fly in muskie Lakes?Lesser known muskie lakes?I would cross the borber in Baudette or I Falls. Drive in is fine but a fly in would be fun. Thanks, John

DeBo101
Some pretty good suggestions so far.Canyon is about the only lake I have heard of that is strictly muskies. Sounds like a heck of trip if you are looking for lots of fish and chance at an upper 40"s.As far as fly-ins go I haven't done one myself but have always wanted to go to Rowan lake. I believe there are 2 lodges on the lake. The only other fly-in I have heard of is Kay lake. One of the nestor falls fly out companies has that one. MuskyBrian
Rowan is a great place to bag a trophy fish of a lifetime, but catching more then a coule fish per week is extremely difficult for most
10,000 Casts
Thanks for the suggestions. They all sound unbelieveable. I had my eye on Kishkutena because all the outposts are very reasonable and it's a fly in!There is a resort on LOTW that has a package, 3 days on LOTW and 3 days on Kish, The 2 days on LOTW are American plan. Sounds sweet Thanks for the names of the other lakes, I will look them up. John
Scoot
John, Don't you have a new job to start, a house to move into, and a wife to keep happy? How do you plan on doing all that and going on a muskie adventure? Tons of great suggestions here, but I've got one more for you. Next time you see me, bring it up and I'll point you in a good direction.
