Red lake ia way down, sanbars go out pretty far before they find enough water to cover them and the docks are all sticking up high and dry.

Our two math wizards might be over 58 trillion gallons apart on their estimates. But either way, that's a heck of a lot of water!

So how are the lake levels looking back in Minnesota? I have heard through various sources and emails that they are very low and much precipitation is needed???????

We got some late season heavy snow, which helped with levels some, but we are still below average. Looks like another dry spell has started, which means, lakes will suffer. It hasn't rained since the 15th, and the 7 day forecast is mostly dry.

I now double-checked mine with a real calculator. That's the correct value.

That's an pool 6.06 miles long x 1 mile wide x 1 mile deep!!!
