Wiring ?

DuluthMedic

Question

Wired up my Lowrance ice machine with the new high speed ducer to the boat. Only problem is the power wire is only like 3 feet long. Anyone know what type of wire I could use to extend it? I'd rather not buy the wire from LEI. I only need like 4 more feet...not 20. Someones gotta know wiring around these here parts. Thanks

I'd say any type of multi-strand (flexible) 16 or 18 gauge wire would do the trick, maybe smaller but not much if you are going to extend past 4 feet. Keep the inline fuse in there, too. My old man will be doing the same thing for the summer.

It doesnt have an inline fuse. Just the ol red and black...they are very small wires.
