Ryan_V
how do you do this?? I have an 01 Yammy big bear 400. I haul water to horses in a 55 gallon nurse tank and it squats the wheeler pretty good so I want it stiffer. I know it can be done, but I can't find my manual yet, and don't know if I need a special tool or ????....
Powerstroke
Do you have a coil over setup? If you do then you just need the wrench to turn the adjusting ring to tighten on the coil. Some suspensions aren't adjustable.
Ryan_V
it is adjustable, I tried by hand and can't get it turned, that's why wondered if there was a wrench I needed....
only ice
YOU SHOULD HAVE A WRENCH IN YOUR TOOL BAG. BUT USE A SMALL PIPE TO GIVE THE LEVRAGE U NEED. Tere are not easy to move!!
jltimm
Try a big channel lock on it that's what I use.
river-rat4
Use a "spanner Wrench". I have heard, "NOT experienced" channel lock pliers break the brittle casting. I used a spanner wrench on my Polaris and it was not in the kit with the unit. They are cheap at a dealer, under $15 so I didn't risk it.river-rat4
