Ice Conditions

i tried to find any info on the lake conditions around park rapids and walker area but no one writes back so i am going to the open forum for this anyone in that area got any current ice conditions for north central mn?? any predic when the ice out date is??

I was in the brainerd area last weekend and the ice was out about 10ft and the rest was pretty punky. Walker isn't much further north. I would imagine the only saf eice is gonna be lake of the woods if that.

I'm here at Lake of the Woods and the "ice" left on the lake is more akin to that which you find in a sno-cone than the ice you are accustomed to walking on. I think we can call the ice fishing season "a wrap" Old Sneller

heard this week two guys from school ice fishing on 17 inches around Bemidji. edges are punky but ice has been pushed onto shore at times.

some fishable ice around bemidji if you have a way to get out onto it, waders, lader, etc.
