Another Lowrance.net question

Okay here's the deal. I have asked several employees of certain sporting goods retailers about a question I have on the network... seems nobody that I have talked to knows much about this.

I have a x104c that I want to hook up with my x17, now the x17 came with all the necessary equipment to install on a network, however the x104 doesn't have the same style plugs as the network cables and the x17, is there an adapter that is made to hook up to units with the grey style plugs or is it just not going to be compatable?

I tried e-mailing Lowrance with no response and also tried calling but after a 1/2 hour on hold I gave up on that deal...

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

The 104C is "NOT" NMEA 2000 compatible and can't be hooked up to a network. All of Lowrance's devises that are NMEA 2000 compatible have either the blue connections or the new red network cables.
