Perch spawn yet?

Just read the article on the home page about spawning perch and was wondering if I missed out or have time yet with this chilly weather? I haven't a clue what water temps are on the area lakes. Thanks, later.

I would say there is still a population of perch that hasn't spawned out yet but it won't be long.

Depends where you live. They haven't started here yet.

It's been hit or miss the last week or so out east on the perch. Couple of guys I know caught a 5 gal. pail full each of dandies Thursday. Friday the same guys went to the same location and between the two caught one 5 gal. pail. Saturday my partner and I caught 20 total. Last night my partner went out for a couple hours late and he picked up 15. Needless to say I'm off tomorrow to see if we can get into them.

Not even close up here. Havent seen perch in spawning areas yet. Most waters are between 37 and 40 degrees. Some still fully covered with rotting ice.

Found some perch in a small gravel pit last week that were milking all over when you grabbed them. No idea what water temps were.

Last weekend we hit the perch perfect at Leech Lake. Full of

spawn. No problem with a limit of Jumbos below the dam.
