I am going to re-outfit my boat's electronics this spring and would like some opinions and ideas. I fish mostly for bass out of a Lund Explorer single console.
Currently I have a Garmin 160 on the console and an Eagle 480 on the bow/trolling motor. I use an H2Oc for GPS.
I would like to have Sonar/GPS units at both the locations and was thinking of Lowrance 520/522c's at each place. I want color at both places too. Would I need two separate GPS pucks? One transducer for sonar would go on the back and one on the trolling motor. Any problems with doing something like that? Any better ideas - budget is $1,000 - $1,300 or so.
Can they be linked to share a chip like Lakemaster or Navionics?
Chamois passed away this weekend a couple days short of her 13th bday.
What a great dog to hang out with here at home and on distant adventures.
Gonna miss ya big time my little big girl.
