Dark Cloud
I like my eggs flavorfull and bitey. Heres my basic fav recipe. This makes a doz eggs....1 1/2 cup water1 1/2 cup white vinegar2 table spoons salt1 table spoons pickiling spice1 tea spoon crushed red pepper3-4 onion slices1 small can sliced or whole red beets.Bring everything except the canned beats just to a boil then turn off. Pour everything over the pealed eggs including the beets. Wait two days and they are ready. They are by no means "hot" but the recipe has some vinegar and salt bite. Cut back on the two if ya like but I never had a complaint on these except by my dad, but he pulls out an egg and covers it with salt and pepper and tells me they are good but too strong?!?. Also try adding some sliced jalopenos...
