TUMBLEWEED
Well, I finally got round to trying thesebad boys. Where have they been all my life!!They work slick.Granted, the design is somewhat outside the norm of the Thills and Wasps(kinda ugly even!!).But man do they perform.I like the snap on/snap off feature, and even with a little panfish rig, they allow the setup to shoot down to the bottom to the fish. No more jiggling the blasted line until it finally gets to the bobber stop/bead. One suggested improvement, would be to havethe yellow foam part, available in somehot neon colors. Also, did I hear you couldget a glowstick or whatnot to attach somehowto it?? I highly suggest to others to try this product. I was skeptical at first, butI now have several in my box!! They havecertainly sold me.........
Lip RIPPER!
I just recently started using them too and I really like them. I agree with TUMBLEWEED as I would like to see them in a different color that may be easier to see in the hole.
Guest
Since we are giving out suggestions, how about a bigger slot for heavier line. I use them all the time now but have had to tweek them a little for heavier line. Just a suggestion. They are the best!!If Bruce reads this, I have some great pictures for you if you are interested in them.ScottS

Guest
I bought 5 for $5 the first year he had them at the December ice fishing show in St Paul. (about 3 years ago, maybe 4) Haven't used anything else since. I like the fact that they don't tend to freeze to your line and that they can be trimmed to be just a little more than neutrally boyant for any size jig / hook / bait combination. All the ads I see show them being trimmed with a scissors, but I must admit when out on the ice, I just bite a chunck off the top a little above the water level. Skeets
There is only one problem wih the ice buster bobber, and that is that I didn't invent them! What a great idea!I met Bruce the first year they came out, he gave me a few samples, and said "spread the word"...I have used them ever since! The Crumpler
Tumbleweed,Just cut a little nick, or use a pencil to make a hole in the top of the foam and stick a glow stick in it. Ta-da, lighted bobber!
NINETOE
I dont use anything else! I even use them in the open water for panfish, trout, and pike!------------------...GoodLuck.....
Bruce Mosher
Hey, you guys are making me smile again! Thanks for the great comments. I tried to have my foam company make a flo. orange model and it came back a real ugly color. They can't inject certain bright colors into a small diameter foam. Getting back to the question of the slotted hole being made bigger for braided line? If I make the slotted hole wider, most of the string stop knots would then pull through the hole. If you are in a house and have the ice buster trimmed down so you can't see it at a distance, just insert one of those toothpicks with the frizzy colored stuff on the top into the top of the bobber for better visibility. If you use a glow stick (3-mm are the best because they are the skinniest) Poke a starter hole on the top of the Ice Buster with a round tooth pick and then insert a glow stick for about 9hrs. of night fishing. If any of you want a peek at the newest hottest summer slip bobber, I should have the Wave Buster Bobber ready for the Walleye Expo Show coming up next weekend. The Wave Buster is a weighted casting bobber. It has a lead insert in the bottom cap for further casts. It'll cast 30 yds. as straight as an arrow. No wavering or fluttering. It is yellow foam with a florescent orange sleeve on top and cap on the bottom. Thanks for all the comments guys. Have fun Fishing! Bruce Mosher
ScottS, Yes I'd really like to see pictures of nice fish with my bobbers in the photo. If they are pretty good shots I might use them on the web site, brouchures or at least in my booth at shows. Please send them to me. If anyone else has a nice fish and a photo of my bobber in the picture please send it to me and I'll send you a couple of free bobbers! Thanks, Bruce Mosher <;}}><------------------Bruce Mosher,www.icebusterbobbers.com
The Chemist
I've been using them for about 2 yrs. I bought them on HSOList from Fish Toys. It makes it so easy to change from jigging to stationary fishing. Also I bought alot of the so I have them trimmed at different lengths so I can switch them according to my minnow size.[This message has been edited by The Chemist (edited 01-28-2002).]
