A pole was always a guarantee but not anymore. I think he will have a win yet but I wouldn't bet what year.

Newman hasn't forgotten how to drive, but that team is in disarray. He's going to win again, but it won't be soon.

I bet we'll see Newman as a major player in Silly Season if that team doesn't come around real soon.

With that said, he won't see Victory Lane this year and will miss the Chase to boot.

WOW I,m not a real big Newman fan but I would'nt write him off yet.( I do have him one of my fantasy leagues) Last year was the first year since 2001 he has't been in the top 10 in points. Dayton he ran good but blew a motor, California he fished 12th. I think will see him in victory lane. Part of his problem last year was he didn't like the Charger and didn't run it till he had too. The team seems to have things figured out now. Just my thoughts--time will tell!!!
