Carl, I like the colour in the sky! How many photo's did you merge? Did you do one at -1, another at even and another at +1 ??? Photomatix is a program I intend on spending some time in as it's gotten some nice reviews from a Minnesota camera site I frequent.

It is a really nice image Carl. I think the original would probably stand on its own just as well.

I used a -1, 0, and +1. As this is my begining work with photomatrix as I review it I probably oversaturated it. Will work more on the tecnique.

I made one this morning which I will post later that is made from -2,-1,0,+1,+2 (a single raw exposed that way). It turned out really great with the only problem being that my source had some blown out white in one spot of the sky and I didn't recognize it until I was processing and the sky had changed outside.

I'm working on two techniques. Using a single raw versus taking several raws.
