LMS-334c Putting together a new boat and need some suggestions

I'm looking at an LMS-334c. It's color and has integrated GPS. Anyone have experience with these or have a better suggestion?

I think a safer bet would be the 332C with external antenna even with the latest software upgrades some 334C owners are still having problems acquiring a consistent satellite signal.

The guy's that have the 334C working properly love them but early on they were a lot of problems.

I have a 334 and it worked great for me. But, it has been superceded by a new model as has the 332c. You might look at the 500 series Lowrance units. They are very similar but new and may have better screen.

I sent my 334 in to be fixed for the sat. dropping, since then its been flawless. in over 20 hours of run time, its may have dropped maybe 2 times. I love the color and screen size.
