Do you guys have ice out there????

Over here in VT I'm still iceless. Normally, I've been out a couple times by now, but we don't even have skin ice. I just did not know if you guys are feeling the pain out there as well.

Wisconsin has ice, but it's good north, bad south. Rainy few days will make it worse til the cold moves back in. Sorry to hear about your situation. I'm booking trips north just to get out.

My proble is, if I go any further north I'll need a passport. I'm only a couple miles from the Canadian border.

We fished on 10+ inches of ice tonight on Leech out of Walker bay.

12" already on some DL area lakes. Of course there's hardly any snow on the ground...

In the twin cities it just varies from lake to lake. I know of lakes with 4-8 inches on them, and then spots like Lake Harriet in Minneapolis that has a lot of open water still.

Hey Bod D, slipbob here. We got nothing here either in NY, even in the Adirondacks which is usually a safe bet we're still iceless. Good news is I've been taking the Lund out 3 or 4 nights a week and getting some real nice walleyes every time. I don't know if I'll even be able to fire up the nilsmaster auger this year but I just filled the gas tank up on the boat AGAIN

Skinny- A buddy of mine was on Marion just a couple days ago straight out from the boat launch. Unless the ice got considerably worse since then, he said there was 8'' of clear ice. They put up a couple tip-ups and got a couple pike. I am not sure of how much walking around and hole drilling they did though. A neighbor was out to Crystal also a couple days ago and said 5-7'' everywhere he checked. I would still use caution because I don't know how much exploring these guys did. I plan on getting out the 29th & 30th not sure where yet.

Plenty of ice up in Ely. Most of the bays on Shagawa now have close to 12", with a uniform 10". Walleyes are being caught here and there. Just have to move around a bit. Pickup trucks starting to show up on some bays, and shanties are out.

Devils Lake has plenty of ice. We have been driving for a week now and the ice ranges from 12-16 inches. We dont have any snow cover and the highs are only expected to reach the 20s this week so we will make ice fast. Fishing has been great!
