Anyone planning on goin to the big tourney? I got off work for that weekend. Hopefully the weather will permit This will be my 9th year going its always a great time. For anyone that has never went before you should check it out. i sure hope it is on Gull so it needs to get cold. If anyone wants to go from around mankato area we always have a good group of guys and you can follow or car pool with us usaully we rent a bus or cargo vans. I plan on going this year. I have went 4 times, and have had fun at each one. The only problem I have is getting people to go with me? The ones that have went in the past complain about it being to cold, windy, crowded, etc...So they don't want to go again? Yah, I know, I have some woosy friends! Oh well, I'm looking forward to it!!

I am planning a long weekend of fishing up there that weekend bringing the kids and staying at my mother in laws cabin near pine river. I have been trying to decide if we should buy the tickets for the contest with the inconsistant weather not knowing what the ice will be like. Any thoughts on what you think the ice will be like?
