You can get a good used machine for 50%-60% of the $5,000 you are saying you can spend. Either buy used and buy some extra accessories or buy new.

2 weeks ago, I bought a new, last year's model Prairie 360. Because it was an 06, I paid $1100 less than what they want for the 07. And I paid a fair amount less than $5000 for it. Check around, and I bet you can still find some 06's around.

Just bought an 06 foreman 500 es w/ 2x and 4x for just over 5 grand but was looking at a 2000 arctic cat 500 auto w/winch,2"lift aftermarket tires and rims and it only had 470 miles on it for 4 grand had him down to 3500.00 but decided to go new.
