fishermann222
The trapping season up here is off to a slow start so far. We are suppose to get some snow this weekend and that should help with the harvest. Thought some of you may enjoy a photo of a trapped fox on a bluff overlooking the Bering Sea. fishermann222
Been doing great rainman. Halibut fishing this summer was spectacular, I am looking at buying my own boat and equipment to longline them myself this next summer, great extra income. Trapping season is slow so far though, and I am still running traps on my snowmobile so that is really limiting my ability to get out to the areas I usually trap. I am also waiting for them to herd reindeer and start butchering them, the fox come from miles around at that time and it makes it a bit easier. Going for 300 this year. I will get my full line out as soon as we get some snow, as they are finally getting prime. Here is a photo of dolly fishing this summer. My email server went haywire and I lost some email address's, email me again and i will send you a bunch of sweet pics from up here.
swandog
very cool picture...that water looks pretty cold as well...I used to trap in Iowa as a kid...I don't think I ever got a fox with as nice a color as that one. Keep the pictures coming...and thanks!...and if you ever get any extra halibut you can send it my way Doug
