Muzzleloading Season?

I purchased the firearms license in MN and didn't see a deer. Now I have the opportunity to go Muzzleloading and was wondering if there is an upgrade for the season? The DNR handbook is somwhat confusing and I would like it if someone could "dumb" it down for me. I just have the plain $27.00 Firearm License.

i was just in gander mt 3 hours ago with the same? only i wanted to upgrade my archary to muzz, anyway i found out that the only upgrade u can get is to the all season licence so i just shelled out another $27 and got a muzz tag, but i can still tag a deer with my archery tag too

If your tags are unfilled, you can upgrade to the allseason license. The cost is the difference plus $6. Any license agent can do it but I'd recommend one that sells a lot of licenses (e.g., Gander). Simply present your unfilled license to the agent and tell them you want to upgrade to the all-season. JUST DO IT BEFORE SATURDAY. If you do it Sat, it won't be valid until Monday.
