When and where is the final tournament for this years classic? Isn't this the BIG event of the year.. the superbowl of bass fishing?

The classic has been moved to a spring tournamentnow.. like in Late Feb early March?

The 2007 Classic will be in Birmingham, AL on Lay Lake Feb. 23-25, 2007.

Luke Clausen won this year's Classic on Toho in FL this past Febuary. I think almost every single Classic record was broke this year and that was with nearly unfishable weather the final day. I think BASS did this for the huge catches and big excitement of pre-spawn/spawn fish. A few more fish were caught than the 2005 Classic in Pittsburg. Van Dam won with 12lb-15oz in fall of 05 and Clausen won with 56lb-02oz in 06. I like the tradition of a fall Classic, but it is kind of fun seeing how the best of the best do on the best waters during the best time of the year.

I am ALREADY itching to get my gear organized, my reels respooled.. and boat prepared for open water.

SO sad... considering the lakes haven't even iced over yet....

It's going to be a LONGGGGGGGGGGGG winter.

yep hes definetly right, its on 15000 acre Lay Lake of Birmingham Alabama in February. I know for sure this because a kid in my Junior BASS club won the state tournament and is headed there. I got third, soooooo close, yet so far.
