To carry two guns while hunting. I want to bring my muzzloader and shotgun out when I am sitting. That way if there is a deer 150 yds out I can drop em whit the muzzle and if more than one comes I can drop em both with the shotgun?

I dont know for sure but I would think if both weapon seasons are open then it would be fine.I would e-mail the dnr or call and they could tell you for sure and you wouldnt have to worry.

I'm pretty sure it is legal as long as both weapons are legal calibers.

My concern is does the DNR consider your Muzzleloader a rifle or a shotgun? If you are hunting in a shotgun only area of the state then that might prove difficult. I'm not quite sure how it would go, since ML's are allowed in the ag area during ML season, but it would be worth checking out.

In MN, it is legal as long as both guns are legal to hunt deer with in your area. You can use a muzzleloader in the shotgun zone, even with a scope during firearm season.
