Tom Linderholm
Carp Fisher, I had to reference my crock pot cookery book on this one as I have never done fish in there before. There was nothing to be found except for a Chowder recipe. I have made soups out of Salmon and Halibut before and they have generally turned out pretty good. Here is the chowder recipe I spoke of: Hearty Fish Chowder 2 medium potatoes1 cup chopped onion2 cloves of garlic1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed cream of celery soup1 10-ounce package frozen kernel corn1 10-ounce package frozen baby lima beans1 1/2 cup chicken broth1/3 cup dry white wine1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning1 pound whitefish fillets1 14 1/4-ounce can stewed tomatoes1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
Finns
Cheffery, How long do you cook your recipe? Do you put the fish in later than the potatoes so they don't turn to mush? Thanks, Finns.
Tom Linderholm
Forgot to mention that part, I would start everything but the fish and allow to cook till the taters start to get tender. Once they hit that point add your fish and continue to cook till they flake apart.
