dang those Gophers are skating well so far...

Aside from that first period against U Maine, they have been playing with confidence. Those freshman are even better than I thought they would be. Okposo is a freight train, Barribal is doing better than his replacement Kessel, and Erik Johnson is holding down the fort in the rear. Wheeler, Goligoski and Vannelli have been playing outstanding as well.

Let's see what da bulldogs will bring to the Decc next weekend.... maybe little Lucia will be able to sneak one by Stalock?

I'm as big a Gopher puck rube as they come... I've gotta say these freshman are BIG and FAST! I'm way more impressed than I thought I'd be, now they'ree just going to get my expectations up and thats never any good. As good as Okposo and Barribal have been.. Erik Johnson hasn't really done alot for me yet... I guess the boys will be padding their stats next weekend against the doggies of Duluth.

I've also been very impressed with Okposo. That kid was dynamite vs CC! Lucia has really cemented the team as the #1 recruiting school in the nation. That's good to see even if I'm not their #1 fan.

So far I'm surprised that the Goph's have started out so fast. Usually it takes them much longer to get rolling into play-off form. Of course they haven't played anyone yet besides the team they lost to.

I'll be at the DECC on Saturday, but rooting for the 'Dogs. Hoping that Briggs has the type of game that I know he can play

Where's Okposo been hiding? He was tough. What's happened to CC. They had their tails between their legs.

Well he does give me bouts of chest pain when he comes out of goal and loses the puck. The guy is nuts. I still think we should've given Ziegelman another chance this year.

Best the Bulldogs can hope for is a split with the way the Gophers are playing.

I'm pretty sure our boy Hauser is wearing a National Championship ring.... he was so solid when it mattered most... and thats how I'll remember him.
