Coming Soon, Minnesota Ice Map!

In the next couple of days we will be posting A map of Minnesota. The map will contain ice information that we recieve from our members! It Should be a neat tool to monitor the ice conditions as it forms this winter and melts this spring. No ice should be considered safe! The map is not guaranteed accurate so do not use it when making decisions that may affect your safety.

First report, Lake Sallie, Detroit Lakes, MN 0" of ice

Hopefully this will change in a couple of weeks!

This site rocks!!! I heard there was a line sheet of ice on ponds and around the snake river, by pokegama this morning!!!

Second report, no fishable ice in the Metro area yet, fishermen are getting antsy to get out.

Seriously, this should be pretty fun to watch as the ice is forming around the state this year.

i will be glued to this as soon as it gets up and running! one down side is it just make me that more anxious for ice and travelin north!
