Hanging Stands Tip

I know this is a little late for this year, but it could be a big help for many of you next year, or for rifle season. If you use screw in tree steps to climb to your stand, cut a small piece of pvc pipe(about the width of your palm). Find a pipe that is just big enough for your step to slide thru it. Put if over the step when you screw it in to prevent tearing up your gloves, or worse, your hands. This tip has saved me many blisters in the past years since I heard it.

Sorry about the timing of this tip, but it just came to mind and I wanted to mention it before I forgot.

Very good tip indeed.I have had many blisters from trying to turn in steps in a hard tree.
