Camera or Flasher? What does everyone use?

Each spot I set up I start with the flasher. If I mark and/or catch a few fish, then I might put the camera down, but like was said earlier, the camera is more for entertainment purposes than helping catch fish consistently.

flasher, im from Faribault and i will use the flash 10:1 cuz the lakes around here s*ck to use the cam on. Cons to cam: dirty water - cant use, night viewing is terrible - cant use, deep water - cant use. Flasher can use 24/7 and if u know how to read them u can just as good of results then seeing the bait with a cam.

I might be just the opposite of most. When I drill I drop my camera down the hole first. If I dont like what I see I move on. With my flasher there is to much information that I do not receive. When I look at the camera I am looking for structure, weeds, what type of fish if there are any, and anything else that might tell me if the area is any good....

I use them both for scouting and angling....Both very valuable tools. I use the flasher when i'm fishin walleye's and crappies, but I use the camera when i'm after northern's. Nothing like seeing a high thirty inch pike come in and hammer your airplane jig.
