Regulations for fish house permit

I was once told that if your fish house had a permanent license on the tong (licensed as a trailer) you did not need a dark house permit - this does not sound right - The state is not to good at passing up money they could put in their pockets - what do you guys with fish houses on wheels do? Do you get a dark house permit and a trailer license, just a dark house license, or both?

If you are fishing out of it you need a shelter permit. No matter what other permits/licenses you may have it still needs a shelter permit.

All I do is get a new shelter permit every year.

your fish house does not need to be licensed as a trailer, unless you use it as such. if it's strictly a fish house, then all you need is the shelter license on the ice
