Bass Pro Shops at MOA

A while back there was mention of a Bass Pro Shops being built/added on at the Mall of America. Is that still in the works? Any updates?

Just hear say, but I heard that BassPro wanted to own the space and MOA would only lease so they left the table, but again that was just in conversation

If you look carefully in the most recent BPS catalog they list Minneapolis on the map as getting a store.....

From what i heard MOA and Bass Pro could not work a deal out so they are not goin to be building a store there!!!

One of my good friends is in the MOA management area and it is definitly going to be a bass pro shops in the new development area there. They are targeting late 2007-early 2008 as the open date

My wife who works for Qwest is ordering up the telecom stuff for Basspro already... I doubt they would be getting this far if they weren't for sure coming to town!!

2 things fellas

1st i am heading to Cin. Oh next week for a convention and what do ya know they have a BPS. Oh man am i going to spend some time and $$ there. Also if anyone wants me to pick them up something let me know but otherwise i will be thinking of all of you

2nd when we get our BPS in the MOA i think we should have a bass fishingmn.com day there where someone gets us a discount and we all get together and oogle all of the goodies and spend some big bucks. It will be like one of them tournaments only who spends the most money wins. Ok i am dreaming here but if someone has an in that would be good i think. laters

When I was down at Patoka, I drove to the BassPro in Clarksville (90min) it was a nice break from not cathcing fish and got me amped again to get one at MOA

Yes Ike, bring me the Baitcaster and spinning reel section. Along with the soft plastic section. And if you can fit it in your truck, car or what every you mode of transportation is I will also take rapalas, I guess you can make it all the crankbait section. Thanks Oh and a new pair of waders along with some pollorized glasses. I forgot, all my spinnerbaits stuck togeather like a plate of hot nochos, so Ill need a few dozen of them. And you better put a hitch on the back of your truck cause you are going to have to pull home one of thoose new trackers. Yes i went to the BPS in Cincy ohio and i loved it. The deals were great. They had Strike king pro premier denny brauer jigs that are normally 3.50 a jig for .99cents. i couldn't believe it i came home with 20. I was just telling my wife on how my jig selection has become limited due to some pesky toothers and then JACKPOT they also had uncle josh pork for a little over a buck. And although i am not much of a pork guy i couldn't resist. i also picked up the KVD dvd 3 pack pretty decent however i find when i watch a video that if it isn't as good and informational as Infisherman or Anglers edge i am left unsatisfied. They also had their BPS extreme baitcasters on sale for 50 bucks the ones with the 7.0:1 gear ratio (31 i.p.t.?). Although that is a great deal i didn't do it. however i would be suprised if that didn't come for christmas saw the wife eyeballing it for me. Any way that is the BPS report. Also watched them feed the fish and they had a large mouth that weighed 12 pounds ShE WAS HUGE. This largy tried to swallow a 30" northern a weekago and although she didn't suceed to eat it she had killed it. i though that was amazing. i came back gitty as a school girl and there is really nothing i can do about it. thanks for letting me ramble. ike
